Grandpa's Girls

Grandpa with Ella.

Grandpa with Chase.

Grandpa with Shea.
Grandpa with Brynn.

What a wonderful visit! Memories "never to be forgotten".

That evening.

Ella loved to play in the shower stall. Usually she would have all her plastic animals and sit and play. I think she liked it because it was all glass.

The girls loved the whirlpool spa in our room.

Feeding and petting the baby seal.

Then Brynn was able to pet and feed a baby seal.

Blue Penguins

Each of the older girls got to hold a Blue Penguin. This one is fully grown and so as you can see they aren't very big.

The stand approximately 10 inches high. They are really cute! I don't believe our grand daughters would have been able to have such a 'hands on' experience any where else in the world.

Marineland of New Zealand

We went to Marineland where they had one dolphin do some fun tricks. Then they brought a baby seal over to us (there were about 15 spectators). It was so cute. The girls loved to see it.

We had ice cream, some of the best in the world, called Rush Munro's. I don't particularly like ice cream but when it comes to Rush Munro's I will order three scoops. It was heavenly and I, as well as the girls and the rest of the gang, loved every mouth full.

The we went to lunch in one of the fantastic cafes. New Zealand has all these wonderful cafes throughout the country with homemade soups, egg or meat pies, lasagana and cakes and cookies.

Then we went and had more ice cream but that was the next day. :)

The Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium where the three girls fit inside this shark's mouth. (What is left of it that is.)
This aquarium has a large display of snakes, lizards, an alligator as well as fish. It was lots of fun.

At the park.

We went to church on Sunday.

The parks in New Zealand are wonderful. There aren't as many lawsuits and so parks are the way it was when I was little.

Swings, teetter-totters, slides and all sorts of park toys kept the kids entertained for hours.

Ella couldn't get enough of swinging. She loved it!

Shea loved this fun slidek. I don't know what it was called but you stood on it and glided from left to right. Being so small, Shea sat on it and we pushed her back and forth.

More at the beach!

Shea loved the beach looking for seashells as did Chase in the background.

Ella and Grandpa loved it too.

Here are all the girls. Great memories!
