Brad and Jackie's visit in NZ-April 2007

Hello Once again. Here are a few of the photos that I have taken. We went to the park in Levin. They have wonderful parks full of fun things like swings, teeter-totters, slides, trampolines and the Flying Fox! Unfortunately, the Flying Fox wasn't operational the day we were there. We were disappointed. For those that don't know what it is, it is a zip line that runs between two posts. This one in particular is quite long, approximately 200-300 meters. It is great fun. We shall do it in May when Sean and Jaime are here. The weather was great and we finished off the day with Real Fruit Ice Cream, the best in New Zealand. :)

March Zone Council Meeting

Hello Everyone,

Here are our 16 missionaries that lead all of our other missionaries. We are divided into zones with a companionship of Elders called zone leaders. They inspire, lead and help anywhere from 15-20 missionaries in their zones. They are terrific young men from all over the world.

Intrviewing our Missionaries

Hello Everyone,
This past week we drove around the south island. We flew to Westport, drove to Greymouth, then to Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin (making a few stops along the way), Gore, Invercargill and finished the week in Queenstown. The sun shone most of the time with a little rain on our way to Christchurch. NZ is a spectacular country. I didn't take many pictures. I will do better next trip which will be week after next on the north island but I did take a few of us visiting with our missionaries in Christchurch. The photographer you see taking pictures of us works for a local newspaper. They were doing an article about the church and in particular our missionaries in Christchurch and the day we were there he was taking some pictures for the article. Our friend, whose daughter Edin you see in some of the pictures, took pictures for me. It was a great trip. After five days it is nice to be in our own bed again. We will be home until Friday when we will begin another road trip visiting the rest of our missionaries from Wellington to New Plymouth, to Napier and home again. We just love it.
